WoW! It has been a long time. Sorry for the delay. Life has been pretty busy in the last month. Both Jamie and I have gone back to school. Jamie is teaching and I am a student. He is really enjoying his new school. His co-workers are fun and supportive. I am taking more yoga training and am very excited. It is nice to be progressing in my field of interest. And of course, Shantaya is growing leaps and bounds. We just went in for her 4 month appointment. She weighs 14.8 lbs, and is 24.5 inches long. My,my... our little girl is blossoming! She loves to jump in her jump-up chair. She is grabbing anything within reach and she is talking all the time. It is quite amazing to see her determination and curiosity. Anyhow, here are a few photos with more soon to come. Love you all. Love us!

Glad to see an update, I think about you guys often. Also glad to see Jamie has gotten some use out of that chainsaw. The little one is growing so quickly, she's adorable as always. Savor all the moments! Take care!

looks like you guys are getting stocked up. Is that Shantayah's halloween costume? We may dress Tristan up as a monkey with a banana on his head.

Ahhhh. I just ran into your blog via Amanda's blog. It was such a pleasant find as I sit in my local library laboring over some studies. I am so glad to see those smiling faces again. I am so jealous of all that wood-chopping. We had two wood-burners growing up and depended on them for heat most of the time. (Except when it got real cold). Great to see people still practicing the good life. I hope all is well and I look forward to seeing the four of you again!

I LOVE Coure D' Alene. We used to go there every year to water ski. It's good to see you again. Looks like the little one is growing like a champ. They grow way too quickly.

I think I remember having a conversation with you, and you said you didn't think kids were for you. I too knew I would have kids, but I really struggled with the desire until about a year before we conceived. Can you believe we EVER thought that (I think it was you I had this conversation with). After having Caleb I am absolutely baffled I struggled with it so much. He is truly the light of my life and it sounds like your daughter has done the same for you. I truly feel that motherhood is the greatest gift I have ever experienced in my life. It is AMAZING. Anyway, I hope all is well. It's good to see you happy and you look beautiful. I can tell you adore your little one.
